At the Iowa State Fair, food is king. On a stick, deep fried, slathered in butter, and coated in sugar. When you come to the Iowa State Fair, be prepared to try the weirdest foods. Be prepared to try some delicious food. And be prepared to eat more than you expected to.
This year, Matt and I are trying out the three winners of Best New Fair Foods. Which, since this is being released right before the 2026 State Fair, you should be able to go and enjoy (assuming the stand still is making the same food, which I’m sure they will be)
