Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader novel by James Luceno is an amazing book from when George Lucas owned Lucasfilm (no longer canon). I think the internal struggle of Kenobi learning that Anakin survived and is deeper in the dark side now as Vader, would be an interesting dilemma to see. Qui-Gon Jinn can be heard here in this scene to help Obi-Wan Kenobi cope with learning that Vader is alive and that Anakin's destiny will be decided by the force.

This also shows us that Qui-Gon is very aware of what's going on with Anakin and how he has singlehandedly changed the fate of the galaxy, the Jedi via Order 66 and gave rise to Palpatine.
