Mike Cannon-Brookes has grabbed the attention of the national media, well, also the international media, in his attempt through his company Atlassian and the Canadian asset management firm Brookfield, to buy Australian energy operation, AGL.
Cannon-Brookes points out that AGL is Australia's largest emitter of carbon dioxide and he has plans to change that making the company dependent on renewable energy.
He said the move by AGL to being a totally green company would be the world's single largest decarbonization project.
