The Quiggin' Out MMA Podcast is back with Episode 54 UFC lightweight and Ultimate Fighter Alum, Vinc "From Hell" Pichel! 

It was Friday the 13th when we recorded this episode and it turned out to be one of the most challenging yet rewarding shows to date. Connection issues aside, which were kinda fixed in post production, led us down some crazy topics and jumped around for a while before landing on solid ground.

Pichel is an absolutely hilarious and down to Earth fighter. We discussed his perspective on fighting, how video games are his escape from fighting, fighting at 40 and his last fight, changing gyms, road rage, and finally, one of the funniest stories about Friday the 13th that I can almost guarantee no one can top.

Pichel also discussed life as a dad, his move to Colorado, cars, motorcycles, and so much more. We didn't even get to fully dive into his Twitch Channel, which we will save for a future episode!

The Quiggin' Out MMA Podcast is back with Episode 53 featuring BKFC standout Tom "A Gentleman Of Violence" Shoaff and not one, but TWO special guests! 

Shoaff is fresh off his dominant victory at BKFC FT LAUDERDALE against Bruce Lutchmedial and for being in a BKFC fight, Shoaff is wearing it well. 

Shoaff discusses, while at his OWN celebration party held by none other than the 'Bad Boy' himself, Leonard Garcia, his new training regiment, new mindset and how a fight with Chad "Money" Mendes needs to happen. Since this episode was filmed prior to BKFC 24, Shoaff also accurately predicted the winner of Hunt vs. Riggs and we about lost our minds when we found out those men are not only the same age, but about 2 weeks apart.

This episode was  lot of fun and got even more interesting when ANOTHER surprise guest was ready to hop on, UFC bantamweight Eddie Wineland.

The Quiggin' Out MMA Podcast is back with EPISODE 50 and our season 2 finale. Our guests? None other than the minds of a BATTLEBOTS team, TEAM MALICE featuring Bunny, David Lau and David Rush!

This one was a bucket list. Ever since I was a kid, I had wanted to build my own Battlebot and now getting the chance to talk to one of the teams that actually does it? Mind-Blowing.

This episode is packed with comparisons between MMA and Battlebots (yes we did find some), life advice, experience and overall just a damn good time with these three. It was really amazing getting to learn about the ins and outs of the show and process, the costs associated with it, and how just like in MMA, there are many smaller organizations out there with the chance to compete on the biggest stage of them all. Oh and I learned not to mention Jackpot. Point taken. 

Bunny also gets to share her side of the story of the infamous "Suck It" clip. It's a great story.

The Quiggin' Out MMA Podcast is back with Episode 49 with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Actual Mixed Martial ARTIST, Phillip Lietz!  

Lietz is someone who I came across specifically for his artwork. His Jiu-Jitsu drawings are so full of life and accurate when it comes to the positions and grips that he depicts. It wasn't until after a few conversations with Lietz did I realize his place in the Jiu-Jitsu world as a Black Belt.  This was a roller-coaster for a plethora of reasons. For one, Lietz talked about his passion for reptiles and his job as a Herpetoculturist. We discussed the hierarchy of asking rolling higher belts, specifically black belts to roll and the differences he has experienced from gym to gym.

Lietz is a wealth of knowledge in many facets and it truly was fascinating getting a different perspective that may turn some heads.   

Side Note: We experienced a rare internet outage in the middle of the show. I was able to edit out most of the dead-air but I realized after that my comment about 6 minutes or so of dead air won't make sense.

This was an absolute eye-opener to learn so many things about a fighter that has been in the MMA world since 1999. We talked about his first 20 fights, fighting in bars for no money, hiding fighting from his dad, and even fighting multiple opponents in one single night. Torres even talked about how he fought the same guy twice in one night. 

Torres dove into what his life is now after fighting, what his gym means to him, and most importantly, his new group simply called the Wolf Pack. Now the Wolf Pack is currently a group of 5 older gentleman who have been afflicted with Parkinson's disease. The Quiggin' Out MMA Podcast is back with Episode 45. The guest is recent PFL signee, fighting Aug 19, Christian "Hollywood" Lohsen!   

In this episode, Lohsen talked about what this opportunity with the PFL means to him, what married life has been like for him, including raising his two husky pups, and even dropped a bit of canine knowledge on our listeners!   Lohsen did this interview during fight week and was easily one of the calmest fighter's we've ever had on the show. He talked about how important refocus is and how the partnership between his gym, DarkWolf MMA and Pete White Boxing & MMA came to fruition and how important it is to surround yourself with like-minded individuals. The amount of knowledge coming from Lohsen at such a young age is fascinating.   

This interview was a bit shorter than normal out of respect for Lohsen having to weigh-in at 9am the next morning.
