  • Episode 83: Passion for Guitar
Pondering whether passion is still passion if it waxes and wanes, and whether it really was buying a post office that caused the passion to wane in the first place.

  • Episode 82: Dealing with Negativity
I'm in my happy place again, smelling the pines on an overcast day.

I talk about the switch in my head and how I can use affirmations to change my behaviour. I'm talking about how to deal with negative thoughts by using affirmations. I'm a recovering alcoholic and I'm still learning every day on how to improve.

Of course the game I talked about and couldn't remember the name of is Animal Crossing.

  • Episode 81: Passion
On this walk and talk, I was inspired by a discussion I had with my daughter (16) about passion. What IS passion? Is it different from a hobby? Does there need to be a goal? These are the things I ponder.

  • Episode 79: Grit
I just finished Grit, by Angela Duckworth. It made me think about parts of my life where I was gritty but that I'd never really thought about in those terms. It's a fantastic book that I highly recommend. I just wish I could get my daughter to read it!

Right now it's on sale on Amazon for £1.99 on Kindle. Use this link below and it'll help me out with a few affiliate marketing pennies.

  • Episode 78: Conspiracy Theories about COVID-19 and David Icke
I walked and talked on this one as a response to the David Icke video with Brian Rose of London Real that's getting a lot of attention right now. It was recorded as a video on my iPhone so you can watch it here if you'd rather and get some nice Arran scenery in the background on a beautiful sunny April afternoon.
