    Throughout the 20th Century, the Federal Government, usually  the Federal Department of Narcotics or the FBI, have harassed many men and women of color, under the guise of being subversive. This was also seen notably during the McCarthy Hearings on Communism during the 1950’s.
    Today we’ll look at three different women that our federal government looked at with suspicion, distrust and even considered them seditionists. Along with this we will look at the role of white privilege and specifically the lack of any privilege among our 3 women today. White privilege has power, whether intentional or not.
