The Minister of Health Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi has asked the Office of health Ombuds to investigate allegations that 36 psychiatric patients in Gauteng died after transferred from Life Health Care, Esidimeni into care of Non-governmental organizations early this year. We have here in studio by Christine Nxumalo who lost her sister while Nomvula Nonjase's sister was transferred from Life Healthcare Esidimeni and relocated to an NGO in Fochville. She escaped several times and now Nomvula fears soon her sister would be roaming the streets of Johannesburg. Meanwhile, the president of the Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA), Professor Anthony Pillay warned that South Africa did not have the resources for community care.

The Department of Basic Education has given the assurance that this year's matric exams will be error-free and with no irregularities. The 2014 matric examinations across seven provinces were riddled with group cheating and copying. This week marks twenty years since rapper Tupac Shakur was murdered. The rapper was shot dead on the streets of Las Vegas in Los Angeles. His family had originally intended for his ashes to be buried in Soweto, which they considered to be the birthplace of his ancestors. Meanwhile, two decades later, still no-one has ever been brought to justice for his murder. And the story of his death is now being taken on by Hollywood directors, years after the case closed. Voices calling for President Jacob Zuma to complete his term of office are starting to emerge. This follows a wave of calls for his resignation after the damning Constitutional Court decision against him in March and the poor showing of the ANC in the local government elections. The Zimbabwean Police have re-imposed a ban on public demonstrations in the Harare Central Business District. It is expected to last until the middle of October.
