The Financial Services Board says the Panama paper leaks will be scruitinised with the possibility of re-investigating the Fidentia missing funds. Curators managed to recover about 200million-rand of the one pont two billion rand that was misappropriated from the Lvings Hands Umbrella Trsut fund by the asset management company, Fidentia. The Panama records fingered Fidentia as having off shore accounts where millions are stashed. Thandiswa Mawu reports

African People's Convention Leader Themba Godi has confirmed that he voted against the DA motion to remove president Jacob Zuma from office. All the opposition parties that supported the motion says they will approach the constitutional court to get clarity on section 89 of the constitution. Living at the hostel and surrounding areas has become a health hazard in Johannesburg because of the rubbish all over the city. Pikitup workers affiliated to municipal worker's union SAMWU have been on an illegal strike for more than a month and waste keeps piling up in and around the city. Young prostitutes are roaming the streets of Krugersdorp on Gauteng's West Rand and it doesn't appear as though anybody cares that hard core drug dealers and child traffickers are profiting from it. An SABC journalist was even held captive for two hours on Friday whilst investigating this story. The City of Johannesburg says it is worried about the health implications of the on-going Pikitup strike. The strike enters its 4th week and has left many parts of the province in a mess that could soon be a huge health risk. About 4-thousand Pikitup workers and members of SA Municipal Workers' Union (Samwu) are still protesting for salary increament. Bongi Gwala spoke to the MEC of Health in Gauteng Qedani Mahlangu

National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete says parliament respects and appreciates the guidance which the Constitutional Court has given the National Assembly on how to deal with reports by Chapter Nine Institutions. Mbete, who was accompanied by NCOP chairperson Thandi Modise, briefed the media in Parliament on the implications of the Constitutional Court ruling on the Public Protector's report on Nkandla. The South African Communist Party Constitutional Court is calling for a decisive action after the Constitutional Court judgement on Nkandla. It says the judgement is a clear warning signal to the ANC, the alliance, and to the government. The alliance warns that if decisive action is not taken, the continuing loss of moral authority, political paralysis and fragmentation of the movement will continue.
