The residents of Bonteheuwel in Cape Town are living in fear as their community has turned into a war zone. At least five people have been killed in shoot-outs between rival gangs since the start of the Easter long weekend. Minister of Finance Pravin Gordon says his legal team has advised him that the so called rogue unit at SA Revenue Services (SARS)was lawful. He was answering the Hawks questions regarding the alleged SARS "rogue" unit. The City of Johannesburg says disciplinary hearings are underway for about 4-thousand striking workers who failed to honour an ultimatum ordering them to go back to work.
