A body representing wildlife farmers in the country, Wildlife Ranching South Africa, has questioned the legitimacy of a multi-million rand BEE deal awarded to ANC heavyweights in North West, including former Rustenburg Municipal Mayor Matthew Wolmarans. Wolmarans together with his associates, former Rustenburg Municipal Manager Andries Boshoff, and tenderpreneur Mike de Kock, benefited from a hefty donation of wild animals, including a hundred and thirty Buffalo, fifty Rhino and fifty Sable Antelope, worth a hundred million rand from the North West Provincial Parks Board. Opposition parties in the North West Provincial Legislature say the deal was never advertised for public participation and therefore, it should be investigated. Tshepang Molale reports
