Ten of COSATU's public sector unions are threatening to strike over government's reduced wage offer. A survey by the the Institute of Race Relations, has shown that South Africa's broadband internet is not only "slow" but "too costly" compared with that in some developed countries. It suggests that lowering the cost of broadband in South Africa, could lead to better access to the internet by households and individuals, which, in turn, could be particularly helpful to job seekers.
