Gauteng Premier David Makhura has refuted reports quoting him as saying e-toll bills must be paid in adherence to the government's decision. Sakina spoke to Gauteng Provincial Government Spokesperson, Thabo Masebe.

The opposition to urban tolling alliance has expressed disappointment at the consultative meeting being held by the Gauteng Provincial Government on E tolls. OUTA has lashed out at the Gauteng Provincial Government saying they are complicating the matter even further and not addressing the elephant in room. On Friday, Gauteng Premier, David Makhura met with various stakeholders and the general public, to discuss the report of the Advisory Panel on the Socio-economic Impact of the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project and the E-tolls. A group of white Northern Cape high school boys have videoed themselves sodomising a fellow black pupil with a broom stick. After the disposal of its assets, the company will be liquidated. Its operations will cease when it sends out its last story at midnight on March 31.
