The family members of centenarian John Chisale whose body was finally buried on a farm in Lephalale in Limpopo, say they are afraid that they could be evicted from the farm now that their grandfather has died. Chisale's body was kept in a mortuary for three weeks after the farmer refused to allow him to be buried on the farm. Chisale had lived and worked on the farm for 70 years. Last Thursday, the Polokwane High Court ordered that Chisale be buried on the farm after the two parties reached a settlement. Witness Tiva reports.

Government has assured the nation that the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will be able to meet the deadline to set up a partnership with the Post Office for the payment of social grants by next year's Constitutional Court deadline.
