China will offer 500-million US Dollars to fund help developing countries tackle famine, refugee crisis and climate change. This emerged at the end of the two-day BRICS leaders summit which was held at the Chinese south-east port city of XIAMEN. Held under the the theme "BRICS: Stronger Partnership for a Brighter Future,", the 9th BRICS summit brought together leaders from China, Russia, India, Brazil including President Jacob Zuma. The leaders adopted a raft of new measures to increase intra-BRICS trade and investment flows and establish broader partnerships on multilateral issues.
