Are these the 'last days?' According to the author of Hebrews, yes!

But in these last days, we are not left alone. In these last days, we do not have to guess about God's plan. In these last days, we don't have to wonder how our story ends. And that's because in these last days, God has spoken through His Son - the definitive source has given a definitive word on our future. That will be the focus of today's sermon from Hebrews 1.

Is faith in Jesus Christ the ONLY WAY to be saved? Is He the only way to Heaven? What do you think - why or why not?

Is cremation biblical? Does the Bible talk about cremation, and is there any Biblical precedent for pursuing it (over traditional burial)? Back in 1960, only 4% of Americans were cremated. As of 2020, that number is 52%. So this is certainly a timely question!

To be clear: God can (and does) save His people irrespective of what happens to their bodies after death. This issue does not affect the status of one's salvation. And yet, it is still one people have questions about, and so it is worth exploring. Today's recording comes from a recent Wednesday night class, and covers multiple passages.

Philosophy and theology are not the same thing. One looks inward, one looks upward. As a Christian, you need to consider the sources that are instructing you and your loved ones. How are we to worship God? The short answer is this: the way that He has told us to.

The Bible tells us that everything we do has significance, even if we have trouble seeing how. What you do today matters, even if it seems boring or mundane. In the economy of God, nothing is ever mundane - and even small things have eternal implications.

The darkness hates the light. But why?

Well, just consider what the light does - it reveals and exposes. It chases shadows. It brings clarity. And if you like to operate in the darkness, then you'll avoid the light's rays. With that in mind, when Jesus came as the 'light of the world,' the world responded by killing Him.

The Gospel is NOT TOOTHLESS. The Gospel is NOT WEAK.

In Scripture, we see that the Gospel is called the "power of God" unto salvation. And if that's true, then we should treat it as Charles Spurgeon did - as a lion to be let out, not as something to hide, package or subjugate beneath other things. Just preach it!
