Radio Free Galaxy

Thurston Warstarter McKinley has been a mainstay of the Milwaukee metal and punk music scenes for over two decades and we're excited to bring you a candid chat that Trisha and I had with him this week! We get into what projects he's currently working on, his musical influences, terrible alcohol review videos, V-neck shirts, and much more! Stay tuned until the show completely falls off the rails in the third segment and Trisha somehow manages to score a date! You do not want to miss this hot mess of an episode!

Have you ever wondered what it takes to get started selling on eBay? If you love angels in trench coats, then you're in luck with this season! Dean is rescued from Hell by the trench coat wearing renagade angel Castiel and instantly becomes a member of the Ruggedly Handsome Demon Fighting Crew! Join us as we talk about favorite episodes and break down the storyline of this season!

We have the solution for your quarantine Valentine's Day blues, spend the night with us! We review a hot garbage Hallmark rom-com movie, read some relationship advice from 1970's Cosmopolitan articles, and we even took a modern internet sex quiz to find out how adventurous of a lover we all are! Let Radio Free Galaxy be your Valentine this year, we're a cheap date and we definitely put out each and every time!

Trisha and I are stoked to welcome Nino Nienas of Milwaukee metal band Bray Road to the show! This conversation was absolute fire and I can't wait for you all to get to know this driven and dedicated individual! Beyond talking about his killer music, we also got into his personal struggles early in life and how he overcame those adversities, the cryptozoological legend of the Beast of Bray Road, and even the Metallica vs. Megadeth debate! We thank Nino for joining us and we hope that you dig Bray Road enough to go to brayroad.com and support his endeavors! You might even get 12 free tumblers with your merch purchase!

Dean only has one more year on Earth, but we've got 13 more seasons of Supernatural to talk about! SpoOOoky mysteries abound as Addam, Tine, Trisha, and I check back in with those way-too-handsome Winchester bros for another season of saving the fucking world from whatever fairytale bullshit they run into each week!

We are super excited to welcome Jackie and Anthony of Brooklyn, NY based punk-metal maniacs Chesty Malone and the Slice 'em Ups to Radio Free Galaxy! We talked about their upcoming project with their band, how they got together, their influences, and even about buying bras from Australia! This band blazes a trail through a mash-up of science fiction, horror, punk rock, and old school thrash metal and we are so down for everything they're about. Join on us as we blast off into space with Chesty Malone and the (Motherf***ing) Slice 'em Ups!

We've got gripes! It's been a year of political insanity and social revolution; all amid a global pandemic and we need to blow off some steam! Tine, Trisha, Addam, Neil, and I all bring our personal gripes to the virtual table and let you know why we think that thing stinks! Carts in thrift stores, class warfare, poor co-worker behavior and so much more!

What do you have gripes about? Let us know and join in the conversation!

In this episode, we are super stoked to welcome Kenosha horror punk band Slaughter Party! to the show! Ray, Will, and Nick all joined us(Jared had to be out plowing snow, much respect!) remotely on a stormy Wisconsin evening to talk about how they got together, their future plans, and even some of their favorite horror movies! These guys are great and we're excited for you to get to know them and hear their music!

On this episode we continue our weekend celebration of badass punk rock females by welcoming Claudia Guajardo of Chicago band Shitizen to the show! We talked about what Shitizen has been up to lately, her clothing line(NEONBOMBDESIGNZ), and her need to self-determine her life during the pandemic. We had some audio issues because of the unpredictability of remote podcasting, but Claudia's Lisa Frank-esque effervescence helped us power through the difficulties. So join us for a super fun conversation with lots of laughs and no fucks given!
