Radio Gorepress

Greetings Gore-fam,

Revenge never tasted so sweet! This week we continue our unintended theme of French women in horror with 2017's Revenge. We chat feminist film theory, the exploitative nature of the rape revenge thriller, and gendered symbolism. Grab your peyote and join us...

Happy Monday, Gore-fam!

Oh, y'all thought we were done with cannibals after our Cannibal Holocaust show? Nope! We're gluttons for punishment here at RGP HQ, so this week we've sunk our teeth into Julia Ducournau's Raw.

Did we eat it up, or did we lose our lunch? You'll have to listen to find out...

Hey Gore-fam,

This week we pivot to tackle something a little heavier, in the form of 2020's atmospheric horror Relic. We got deep into the true meaning of the film and just how effective this Aussie chiller manages to be, whilst still packing a real emotional punch! Enjoy...

Happy New Year, Gore-fam!

We're back and raring to go with our new Wes Craven-centric offering. This week we have some differing opinions on 1991's underrated The People Under The Stairs. Who will be the dissenting voice? And will gimp suits ever make a comeback in horror?!

Will we choose tricks or treats this year? Well, you might say we opted for both. Get your best costume on, hoard some candy and enjoy this years seasonal show as we delve deep into Halloween anthology Trick 'R Treat.

Greetings dear Gore-fam,

We're so excited to chat about 2011's meta horror comedy Cabin In The Woods this week. Phil has been nagging for this one for years so we thought it was finally time to concede and let him have his way. We had an absolute blast recording this one and we hope you have just as much fun listening.
