In Erie County, law enforcement officers have safely apprehended an inmate who was mistakenly released from custody before serving a state sentence. In Columbiana County, a sixty-one-year-old Lisbon man has died following a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon. State troopers say Glenn R. Kennedy was traveling along State Route 45 when a northbound driver attempting a left turn onto Osbourne Road struck his motorcycle. Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene.

In Kanawha County, cleanup operations continue following a CSX train derailment in South Charleston.
