          TWO SCOTTSVILLE RESIDENTS ARE FACING CRIMINAL CHILD ABUSE CHARGES FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF A ONE-YEAR-OLD CHILD IN ALLEN COUNTY. POLICE SAY 22-YEAR-OLDS ALEXANDRAE PRICE AND DEAVAN WILLIAMS WERE ARRESTED AFTER OFFICERS FOUND THE CHILD LIVING IN EXTREME NEGLECT WITHOUT RUNNING WATER OR PROPER VENTILATION. BOTH SUSPECTS REMAIN HELD IN THE ALLEN COUNTY DETENTION CENTER.

HOPKINSVILLE POLICE SAY FOUL PLAY IS SUSPECTED IN THE DEATH OF A BOWLING GREEN MAN FOUND IN THE LITTLE RIVER YESTERDAY.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE BODY OF 34-YEAR-OLD CLIFFORD BARBER NEAR WEST SIDE PARK JUST AFTER 6AM TUESDAY.   POLICE SAY THE INVESTIGATION REMAINS ONGOING.

          THE BOWLING GREEN-WARREN COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY IS FACING SEVERE OVERCROWDING AS ANIMAL INTAKES SOAR THIS SUMMER. SHELTER OFFICIALS REPORT TAKING IN OVER 1,000 ANIMALS IN JULY ALONE, AVERAGING UP TO 45 ARRIVALS DAILY.           DRIVERS IN GLASGOW SHOULD PREPARE FOR ROAD CLOSURES AROUND THE PUBLIC SQUARE THIS FRIDAY, JULY 31ST. POLICE SAY THE EAST SIDE OF THE SQUARE WILL CLOSE AT 8 A.M., FOLLOWED BY THE NORTH SIDE AT 3 P.M., AND THE SOUTH SIDE AT 5 P.M.
