Casual Hex is a psych revival band from Chicago. Pulling from a vast array of psychedelic and mod influences of the 1960s as well as the production value of modern psych bands such as Holy Wave and Mystic Braves, Casual Hex creates a sound that is both nostalgic and modern.

Shamika “Mika Luciano” Pierce is an American hip hop recording artist and poet from Chicago Illinois. Hailing from the city’s gang ridden west side, the hard spitting femcee acknowledges an early exposure to the street life. Heavily influenced by the rap culture around her, Mika Luciano displays hard hitting verses laced with a distinct style, unique versatility, and boggling lyricism. As an affilliate of “Goon Affiliated Business” (G.A.B), a team with a repertoire of hip hop, R&B, and Soul Mika Luciano first went public debuting their song “Blunts, Bottles, and Bi***es”. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois on the south side in Chatham, listening to music of all genres since he could turn the dials on the radio, writing his own raps since he heard his seventh grade teacher spit an original piece, and performing in front of audiences since 2012. Member of the hip hop group J.O.B. under the name Jerm, he also rants on records under a more festive and animated alias Polaroid Boy. Simultaneously embodying all three personas, Marv delivers a growing range of versatility and lyrical content.

From an early age, Roy has had an interest in music. He began playing guitar when he was eight years old. In high school, he took a break from guitar to spend time in photography and hockey, but then got back into music when he began playing drums while he was in college. His interest in drums led to an interest in hip-hop. As he started heavily listening to the beats, lyrics, and production of his favorite artists, he began writing his own songs.

Influenced by artists such as G-Eazy, Logic, Cal Scruby, and Post Malone, Roy has been able to develop a writing and music style that he is proud to call his own, and believes it will help set him apart from other artists. With an unmatched energy on stage, and a desire to always learn and better himself, Roy is poised to continue his climb to the top.

Johnson is a veteran of the Chicago scene, having reached local acclaim fronting rock trio Jet W. Lee. As a solo artist, Johnson presents tight, muscular songcraft with beautiful melodies and surprisingly dark lyrics. Most of all, Johnson does something not so common today, tell a story, and it’s thoughtful word choice in his music that helps the listener personalize each song. The band is touring the country this summer in support of Jesse’s 2nd full-length album, American Dumpster.
