Barnaby has set his escape by blowing up the Clara M, destroying the lifeboats except for his.  He and Limey head for this treasure island leaving Jimmy, Pug and the men of the Clara M to sink with the ship.  Superman, who is still getting the men to safety on the other two rigs many miles away, has no idea of the events on the Clara M.  Commentary on the singular trait all Superman villains have in common.  Plus, a discussion on Superman in flight.

Superman has everything under control on the Clara M but sees two sinking ships in distress that he must save.  While he’s away, Limey makes a deal with Barnaby if he unchains him.  With Superman away, what will they do in order to get away?  Who will be at risk?  Commentary on how the writers choose which action sequences to showcase.

Jimmy and Pug, the stowaway, were rescued by Superman, unbeknownst to them as they were near drowned.  When they recovered Pug proclaims he pretended to be the whistler but warned the real whistler was still haunting the ship. Jimmy found a stowaway in his cabin and when taking him to the bridge to turn him in, finds himself in a fight in which both boys fell overboard and are now close to drowning unless Clark figures out the peril in time.
