Barnaby has now officially taken over the Clara M with seemingly good intentions, but Kent isn’t buying it.  He decides to play along to discover Barnaby’s real motive.

In our last episode, a great story within our main story began in which Limey conducted a mutiny of the Clara M while Jimmy and McTavish sneak to the control room to send a distress signal to nearby ship the San Jose for assistance.  But can they get their cry for help out in time?  Commentary on yet another exciting story coming out of the main story and how once again everyone wants to try and kill Superman.

The Captain is out of commission and the crew, made out of wanted criminals, plans a mutiny in order to take the ship to freedom. Commentary on the great sub-story with Jimmy Olsen now driving the story.  Also, the war in Europe is getting much more volatile and frightening.

When we last checked in, Kent was about to do something drastic to save Captain Hawkins life.  Commentary on how the spectacular layering of the B story of the ship in peril meshes perfectly with the main plot.

After really getting nowhere with his investigation back in Metropolis, Kent decides that he, as Superman, must return to the Clara M.  Unbeknownst to Superman, Barnaby is stuck on the side of the ship with the threat of being swept out to sea.  Of course, Superman always in arrive time.  Here’s a spoiler for you.  He doesn’t make it this time.
