Last time,  Lois and Jimmy decided to track Clark and Perry’s path to Chi Wan’s house in which their result is about to be the same as Perry White’s as Lois is offered the poisoned tea?  Commentary on the  momentous meeting of two great characters Superman fans have been waiting an entire year to hear.

A woman is missing yet her disappearance is reported three months later. There is no trace of her. No lead whatsoever.  Commentary on Dragnet shifting its regular storytelling formula.

In our last episode, Perry White is poisoned after drinking the tainted tea and Clark must act quickly to save his life.  And what about Chi Wan?  Did he poison Perry White?  Or is there a threat even greater? Commentary tonight on the return of Joan Alexander as Lois Lane.

If the past 156 episodes were rehearsal, then this serial is opening night because new truths will be realized as we welcome the entire gang –Clark, Jimmy, Perry White and Lois Lane- for this thrilling new adventure. Tonight’s adventure is all about an ancient Chinese manuscript describing the secret to everlasting life that one man will do anything, including murder, to get it.  This exciting adventure is a race to the finish for Superman from one end of the country to the other. Commentary on the derogatory use of "Oriental' and the prejudice against the Chinese until 1941 when they became America's staunchest allies against the Japanese during WWII.

As our serial concludes, things are not looking good for our heroes as Humi is set to kill each one of them which means Clark must think fast to have Superman show up and not give away his secret.  But this time, he may have to tempt fate and the limits of his own superpowers.  Commentary on how this episode might have been different with respect to the Egyptians featured had this been produced today given the state of mind in America in 1941.

Merchandise trucks are being hijacked all over the city.  There are no fingerprints and little evidence, yet Friday and Romero must take whatever they can get to find its source.
