Radio Retropolis

Friday and Romero set up a sting to stop a rash of crooked TV repair men. Tumbleweed and his abductor crash through the parapet into the raging river below as Superman fails to arrive in time to save them from the impact of the crash.  Did both survive?  Will Superman make it in time in case one or both survived?

Superman once again saves Miss Wycroft but not before Tumbleweed Jones got a bullet in his leg.  At the hospital, Tumbleweed is being visited by a mysterious stranger. Commentary on Radio Retropolis.

With Kent completely at a loss, he and Tumbleweed Jones investigated the clues and realized the veiled woman in the elevator was the woman who calls herself Sydney Rycroft.  What more can we expect from this Egyptian mystery and is the veiled woman a friend or foe?  The last time we heard from Tumbleweed and Kent, they were given a street address where answers could be found. Commentary on the stereotype of the Egyptian villain using a cross between a Japanese and German accent as this is 1941.

When a rising young businessman is kidnapped from his home, Friday and Romero are called in to negotiate his release.  Commentary on how Dragnet accurately portrays a real kidnapping situation.  Plus the significance of this date and the end of WWII.

In our last episode, Superman saved Miss Sydney Rycroft who strangely told him to tell Kent not to check up on her.  But, Kent’s biggest surprise was in Perry’s office where he was introduced to the real Sidney Rycroft-Mr. Sidney Rycroft.

Last time, Sydney Rycroft went missing during Gambini’s magic illusion baffling Clark and Jimmy as to where she could be and for what reason. 

Neighborhood petty thievery leads to capture of teenage boy which culminates into a much more dramatic story than your usual Dragnet episode.  Commentary on yet another superb episode and the value of Dragnet in which the listener connects emotionally to our cast with another very sad tale.

Clark and Jimmy embark on a creepy and baffling mystery that involves visiting friend Tumbleweed Jones, a missing ancient black pearl, and an elusive victim. Commentary on the real legend of Osiris.
