Dr. Patrick is a Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine in the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Center for Wireless and Population Health Systems in UCSD’s Qualcomm Institute/Calit2. He is Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Health Data Exploration Project. His research, funded by the NIH, NSF, CDC and RWJF, is focused on improving the use of information and communication technology to measure and improve health-related behaviors of individuals and populations. Yolanda Rabun serves as Corporate Counsel with IBM Corporation in Research Triangle Park where she has led complex multi-million dollar merger and acquisitions and numerous contract transactions matters related to intellectual property, contract and privacy law over the past 21 years. Yolanda is also a chart-topping national soul and jazz recording artist.

She developed the safe food handling guidelines in coordination with the local health department, enlisted first donors, built an extensive network of food donors and volunteer drivers and designed the original routing systems. In 1992 Ms. Bullard was a driving force behind the passage of North Carolina's Good Samaritan Law, which allows business to donate unsellable food items without fear of legal action.

Dr. LaRee Johnson was born in Huntington Beach, California. She made her way eastward completing her accelerated undergraduate studies in Biology in two years at Arkansas Tech University (with scholarships in academics, ROTC, leadership and music) receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the University of Tennessee. She graduated from UNC School of Dentistry for her post-doctoral Masters in Science and her three year residency in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Johnson and her husband, James Gerdts, are competitive endurance athletes.
