19 year old Blaze Bernstein was murdered by a former classmate who showed some interest in him. The guy's name, Samuel Woodward. Blaze thought Sam was genuinely attracted to him and agreed to meet with Sam. Little did Blaze know, Sam was a member of Atomwaffen Division, a neo nazi white supremacy group with violent ties to many crimes.

Our True Crime Quickie is from Malaysia. 18 year old T. Nhaveen was beaten to death because he was "perceived" as gay.

Season 8 Episode 2 I covered the case of 21 year old trans man Alex VanDalsen's death. Law enforcement insisted Alex's death was self inflicted. Alex's family, myself and some of my podcasting collegues believe otherwise. Even on bodycam footage of said law enforcement, they felt he was murdered and placed where found. Although their reports and declarations insist to Alex's family it was suicide. We call bullshit! Alex VanDalsen, a transgendered man, was murdered, but his case was conveniently labeled a suicide. His mother, Jennifer VanDalsen, has spent nearly three years fighting for answers and justice. Due to recent events where Jennifer was once again tossed away and considered disposable by local authorities, we gathered together to have a round table discussion and refresh on his case, as well as a firm request of everyone listening to not only say his name, but bring awareness on his case. We want everyone in the true crime arena to please cover his case, we want authorities to dig deeper into their investigations, we want senators and government officials highlighting this case and we want Jennifer to finally have answers because ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
