Rainbow Crimes - Beyond the Rainbow

Hey guys...I'm still working on two listener suggested cases for next week. So I borrowed the Arson at Backstairs Lounge in New Orleans from my friends Aurora and Angelina of MurderMurder News! The Backstairs Lounge was an LGBTQ bar and nightclub. 32 people lost their lives the night it happened. I'll be back next week with my New Orleans case and the true crime quickie from Missouri.

16 year old Brenda Spencer was not an ideal student, nor was she an ideal human. living across from an elementary school and with a new rifle freshly in hand, Brenda began taking shots at students and shcool staff with precision accuracy. The song "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Irish Rock Group Boomtown Rats was inspired by her actions.

Hey guys! This case was briefly touched upon in a Voices of Darkcast episode, and I also did it for a podcast called Beyond Bizarre and now I'm bringing it home to Beyond the Rainbow. Katie Janness was a 40 year old woman murdered while walking her dog in Piedmont park in Atlanta. I do have to say multi media sources say several parts of Katie were cut off and disposed of but never found. However the autopsy report makes no mention of any body parts cut from Katie. Autopsy report is in the show notes for you to review if you'd like. It was a very thorough report unlike some I've seen. True crime quickie is the murder of Satendar Singh in Sacramento, California.

Billy Jack Gaither was a 39 year old man who lived deeply in his closet. It didn't help he also lived in a small town in Alabama, the heart of the Bible Belt. Billy Jack kept his secret from most, but someone he considered a "friend"...did him dirty in the ultimately most nefarious way. The true crime quickie comes from South Africa when an up and coming LGBTQ musical artist was brutally slain in daylight while others watched.
