In today's episode we explore Eleni's heart-warming experience of escaping family violence as a child-victim survivor and re-entering the clutches of those who perpetrated family violence towards her.
Eleni gives us a honest and in-depth look into her experiences as a child and young person battling systemic abusive behaviours and validation in the wrong places of her life when she needed recognition the most.
Eleni speaks about how her experiences become her driving force to want to teach women about how to ADVOCATE for themselves and find the validation to seek the experiences they deserve by RAISING THEIR VOICES and finding their confidence to pursue even the toughest of topics.
Eleni also speaks about the pivotal role that pageantry has had in shaping the empowered woman she is today, and how her journey as a Mrs Galaxy Australia 2023 & 2024 (@australia_galaxy_pageants) national finalist has motivated her to be the best version of herself; constantly striving for better outcomes.
Eleni proudly operates the platform SHE ADVOCATES SOCIETY (@sheadvocatessociety) and is an ambassador for the wonderful charity, CARE KITS FOR KIDS (@carekitsforkidsqld)

Are you burning out or are you already burnt out? It happens to us all more than we think and often comes after us when we've got the most on our plate and the least space to deal with it.
So how do we work on preventing burnout before it happens and work on shifting from the 'burnt out' mentality?
Host, Bree Tiana, gives us her insight into some ways she has worked through burn out and become more compassionate for herself and others to support the effects of burnout with consistency and routine.
This episode introduces super mum, Ros (@rozbosdorf), who takes us on her journey of self-advocacy and advocacy for her two neurodivergent children as they navigate the ups and downs of the Early Childhood Early Intervention system through the NDIS.
Ros speaks about some of her sacrifices and how ultimately her advocacy supports her children to be able to have the best chances to get adequate support workers and assistive technology.
Ros acknowledges that at times this journey can feel isolating but stresses the importance of creating meaningful and supportive connections to help you through.
I am in constant awe of and inspired by mum's like Ros, find out why by listening today.
Let's discuss SELF CARE & ROLE MODELLING in our super candid and UNPLUGGED episode this week with host, Bree Tiana, as she takes us through her favourite self-love, self-care and self-compassion moments to prepare you for those times when you might really need a little more self-care than usual.
Our second podcast guest, Ariana (@arikookie), takes us on a journey through her formative years experiencing bullying and supporting friends with their mental health.
She speaks about how her experiences reflecting on each of these themes lead her to pursue her studies in Psychology and Criminology and how her time spent pursuing her dreams of modelling has urged her to want to show up to represent girls just like her.
Ariana teaches us the importance of support and balance as she speaks about negotiating her passions in this episode.
What has grief been like for you? How would you describe it? How do you experience it and how would you discuss it in a room full of strangers?
Well, our UNPLUGGED episodes are about getting raw and real about our stories of lived experience; the good, the bad and the posted late because your girl ain't so good at this.
I don't believe grief is linear, nor do I think that it looks the same way twice. Tune into this episode to hear more about grief UNPLUGGED and journey with me whilst we discuss some different ways I, Bree Tiana, have been affected by grief throughout my life.
