Raising Culturally Intelligent Kids

Listen Later

Living in Singapore, our families are exposed to a rich tapestry of races, languages, religions and cultures. We don’t take this harmony in diversity for granted, and we desire our children to relate with people from the community.

Join Joanna Koh-Hoe, CEO of Focus on the Family as she speaks with husband and wife, Daniel and Alicia Chai on how they have imbued a sense of community in their family, which has helped them to be culturally intelligent children.

Alicia is an accredited speaker with more than a decade of experience engaging youth, young adults and young parents. Her passion is to impact and equip young people with foundations, skills for significant living and strong family relationships. Now, she is a stay home mom and spends quality time with her family and friends.

Daniel works in the banking industry. At home, he is a handyman, a good cook and a hands on father.

They both have four beautiful children between the ages of 4 to 10-years-old including a pair of twins.
