  • Toxic City - Observations of an Idiot
You can tell the quality of a person by what they refrain from doing. We live in an age of greed and consumption and sex is no exception. We are currently encouraging people to have as much care-free sex as they can get and it is destroying the relationship between men and women.

Maybe I'm just an old-fashioned prune but If we are not suppose to overindulge on chocolate, alcohol, TV, how has sex gotten a free pass?

  • It ain't easy being EV: The Greenwashing of EVs
I agree with EV's in theory. We need transport methods that get us from A-B quick, comfortably and without damaging the environment. But our current EV approach is riddled with issues that do not get discussed by the groups pushing EV's on us. The topic has been greenwashed to within an inch of its' life.

This video hopes to shed some light on the not-so-green side of EV production.

  • Andrew Tate was inevitable - Observations of an Idiot
A divisive figure that I believe speaks to core issues of social disharmony we are currently experiencing.

Blanket terms are being use to brand impossibly large groups of people under one label. The result? A resentful and angry group of unheard individuals waiting and wanting an opportunity to lash out.

Many incels feel rejected by women universally and so carry out unspeakable acts of violence against them as revenge for this internal turmoil. I worry of potential acts of societal revenge carried out by self-perceived rejected groups on a massive scale.

I pray that people learn to love each other, have compassion towards differences and when issues arise, find a way to address the behaviour and the perpetrator without mindlessly vilifying extended groups, innocent of the individual offence.

One path to being more compassionate to others is to have compassion for yourself. A great way of showing that compassion is to allow yourself time to relax and unwind and what better way to do that than to take an hour at Float Cork and lose yourself in the waters of peace. • Don't Be A S-S-S-Snake
Men aren't all creeps. Just some of us. And the rest of us are accidental creeps.

Today I took a think and a talk to see what can men do as individuals that reduces their accidental creeping incidents and help women feeling more comfortable when they're out and about.

If we can do small things that make a big difference, then why shouldn't we?

Always don't forget, in this stressful world we live in, it's good to take some time for yourself. Where better than taking an hour at Float Cork to lose yourself in solitude floating in a pool of Epsom salts. Book your me-time today and use "rambleland" at checkout for 15% off

  • Women are precious, now make them dangerous.
In light of the horrific murder of Ashling Murphy, a video I recorded but never published, has become more relevant than ever.

The topic in question is encouraging women to become violent and effective at self-preservation in a bid to give would-be attackers pause for thought before launching an attack. The thinking is not to create violent people, but instead to nurture a more peaceful society by empowering each individual within that society to take charge of their own protection so that if the case arises and they find themselves alone in a threatening environment, they might be able to do just enough, to create an opportunity to flee the scenario and keep themselves safe.

I pray no one who ever watches this video is required to use it.

  • Rambleland #16 - Dave Skillington
Dave is the owner and founder of Float Cork, a floatation therapy clinic on the outskirts of Cork City. There's a particularly special reason for this podcast however. Float Cork has agreed to take on the glorious honour of sponsoring this very podcast.

I didn't pop the question until after the podcast was over so just this episode took place under the pretence that this was just another run-of-the-mill episode of me connecting with a bright and intelligent individual. That pretence did not disappoint. We talk all things floating, alternative medicine and running a business. This is one not to be missed.

  • Episode #14 - Philly Mac
I've spent over a year dealing with people who think I'm a Nazi because I politely ask them to wear a mask. Division between people runs deeper than they ever had before over issues arising in our societies. People are bitter and angry when you challenge them over anything. I wanted to have a corona based chat with someone who disagrees with me about a lot without it getting out of hand. Philly was my man for that.

Philly is an intelligent and thought-provoking young man who made several major decisions relating to the regulations being brought in to combat the spread of corona. Not everyone agreed with him. I wanted to pick his brain a bit more over the hot topics that are separating people today. I hope there is something for you to glean if you've been struggling with how much are you going to accept as independent citizen in a country that is going through an international crisis. At the very least, I hope this podcast shows how you can disagree with someone and not have to hate them.
