In this movie there are problematic scenes and relationships, but unlike most 80’s comedies,they actually discuss them. This is another fun, inoffensive film that you could watch with the whole family.

Season 2: Episode 33: The Burbs (1989)

This week Brennan and Andrew talk about The Burbs. Another 1989 film, this one with fantastic performances from people like Carrie Fischer, Wendy Schaal and Corey Feldman, paired with, in Andrew’s opinion, a subpar Tom Hanks. 

Andrew really didn’t like the ending and disliked the story a bit but both he and Brennan greed that this was a perfectly ok movie.

This was an interesting movie. You could tell it was written by Gene Wilder, and he stars in it as well, with Gilda Radner. There really isn’t a lot to say about this movie, it’s funny, it’s well acted. Brennan and Andrew talk about this movie, and other stuff. There isn’t tons to this movie.

This movie is just fun. Seriously, Brennan and Andrew spend the entire episode just talking about a really enjoyable movie with an amazing soundtrack and a stellar cast. Seriously, you should just go watch this movie, just make sure it’s not the unneeded American cut, Pirate Radio.
