Google updates their search algorithm constantly. Some updates are bigger than others, some updates will affect you positively, some updates will affect you negatively. I ran updates, upgrades, and dist-upgrade on my remote website server, which is an Ubuntu machine hosted using Amazon web services. I used putty to SSH to it and updated everything using the "command line" (terminal). Oh, and then rebooted at the end.

I would try to copy files from my Android phone to a folder on my desktop using a cable hooked up from my phone to my Windows computer, but the file transfer kept crashing, and would even freeze up the Explorer task on my computer. Turns out the cable was the problem and using a different one resolved my issue.

So I'm going to use Microsoft Excel to compare two spreadsheets that different people gave me to see what's missing between the two and what is not the same on both. I talk about the "if" formula, a lot of copy paste stuff, and subtotalling.

My coworkers were unable to connect to one of the servers and active directory wouldn't load. The C drive was out of free space, the page file was out of control on a very small hard drive. I allocated more hard drive space (a two step process using Hyper V and Server Manager) and upped the ram of the virtual machine. It's all good now.
