Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
This is the final Rapidly Rotating Records broadcast…of 2018, that is! We have no intention of presenting a final broadcast until I can no longer even lift a turntable tone arm! This week’s show starts off right by consuming some whiskey! Musical whiskey, that is, and introducing several artists you probably weren’t familiar with. This is the season for taking things back, such as Christmas presents, but some people would like to be taken back as well, and we’ll hear from some of them. We’ll “make hay,” and do something we haven’t done in a while, play “One Thing In Common.” And Bing Crosby will finish up the show with some good advice, “Let’s Start The New Year Right.”
Thanks to everyone for listening and for the feedback, encouragement and support over this past year. I look forward to bring you more toe-tapping music in 2019 and beyond. My best wishes to you for a very happy, safe, healthy and exceptionally prosperous New Year filled with unforgettable adventures and quality time spent with family and friends.
