On this evening’s show, we’ll celebrate the birthdays of Clarence Williams, Johnny Burke, Milton Ager and Vernon Duke, and have a vocabulary lesson.

Segment 5: Vernon Duke
October 10 marks the birth in 1903 in Prafianovo, Russia of Vladimir Alexandrovich Dukelsky, composer of classical music. You may know him better as one of the most successful American composer of popular songs, Vernon Duke.
