Do you know who this fellow is?  He’s 1920s bandleader Earl Gresh. But this photograph was taken in 1929, after Earl’s music career came to an abrupt halt. In the first segment of this week’s show, you’ll hear three great records by Earl and His Gangplank Orchestra, find out why he left music and why he’s is a boat.  We’ll also celebrate the birthdays of Bill Smith and Fiddlin’ Doc Roberts.
