Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.
I’m happy to announce that we are now using new software to create the Rapidly Rotating Records podcast which makes posting new episodes of the show to iTunes much easier. This means a small change in the appearance of the website, but with a new online player with added features. In the past, you had to click on a link to listen to the show. Now the new player appears at the bottom of the playlist and there’s a new “Download” button right on the face of the player so you can download the show without a “right-click.” I hope you find the change to be an improvement and I welcome your feedback.
Watch for a couple of other special announcements in the next few days about the show.
As for this week’s show, we’re going to celebrate the birthdays of Ernest L. Stevens and Ben Black. We’re also going to have a tea party, take a musical trip to Alabama and try to get inside your head!
If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to [email protected] And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome.
Segment 1: Ernest L. Stevens
Keep On Building Castles In The Air – Ernest L. Stevens Trio
Segment 2: Ben Black
