This week on the podcast, I am joined my my granddaughter, Grace! She was here for a few days with us and we grabbed some time to record. So fun to hear the thoughts of a young teenager as we continue talking about our bodies. What a lively conversation we had! I trust that you will be encouraged as you listen!

This week on the podcast, I am joined by my daughter-in-law, Maureen, as we continue the conversation about our bodies. Maureen shares how God is her strength in the midst of the physical limitations multiple sclerosis has brought into her life.
I know you will be encouraged.

My daughter joined me on the podcast this week! We talked about how she stays active in this busy season of mothering, about not being consumed with looks, food, and exercise, and we even ventured into gym attire - wearing appropriate clothing when working out.
As always, I hope this episode encourages you!

If you've listened to the last two podcasts, you have heard from Scripture what God says about our bodies and how we should view them from God's perspective. We've learned how important they are, how we are to use them to glorify God, and how our bodies belong to Him. In this podcast, I get very practical as I share my own story. I hope it will encourage you as you look for ways to make your body strong.

This is the second in a series about our bodies. When we understand that God owns our bodies, it makes all the difference in the world! This understanding affects how we take care of them in this life - what we eat, what we drink, how we exercise, what we wear - even to the products we use like makeup and skincare. Why? Because our bodies belong to God and we are simply His stewards. I hope this week's episode will solidify convictions about our bodies - God made us! Next week, I will be sharing summary and application, and after that, some conversations with my girls.

Do you see your body as God sees it? The way we view our bodies affects everything we do with and to them – from the food we eat and don't eat - to the exercises we do - to the skincare, makeup, the clothes we wear, and even to the clothes we don't wear. This week's podcast is the first in a few episodes looking at God's view of our bodies. I hope as you listen, you will have a better understanding of your body and also, something very tangible you can teach your children and younger women in your life. Our bodies are very important to the Lord.
This is just the beginning ...

This week on the podcast, you will hear from our second grandchild, Luke. He is 17 and a junior at Mt. Paran Christian School in Marietta, Georgia. His mom is Maureen, one of the RBR girls, and his dad is my second son, Jordan. It was such a treat for me to interview him for the podcast. As with Jack, I hope you boy moms enjoy listening and that you are encouraged as you raise your teenage boys. We talked about his growing up years, how his parents and siblings continue to shape him, godly influences in his life, preparing for his future, and how God guides him through His word.
