This week on the podcast, you will hear my conversation with our oldest grandchild, Jack. He is 18 and a freshman at UGA. His mom is Maureen, one of the RBR girls, and his dad is my second son, Jordan. I asked Jack if I could interview him and he graciously agreed! I hope you moms of boys especially enjoy listening and that you are encouraged. His energy and excitement are contagious! We talked about so many things on this episode - his growing up years, how his mom and dad both shaped him and instilled 2God's truth in him and how that has guided him thus far. At this stage of my life, I am especially encouraged by the young generation God is raising up – those who know Him and love Him. God is so very kind. Psalm 100:5 "For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His faithfulness is to all generations."

In January, my daughter asked me to share 1 Timothy 3:11 with a group of women in Raleigh, North Carolina. As I walked through the qualifications for deacons' wives, I shared some principles for ALL wives. Husbands need wives in ways that they might not fully understand. God calls men to lead, provide, and protect. Sometimes they do that as pastors, shepherds, elders, and/or deacons in the church, but all of them do it as leaders of their families. However, leadership extends far beyond just their families. Men lead by example in their churches, in their communities, and in their jobs. They are mentors and role models to young boys growing up all around them. They are strong and protective warriors for the young girls growing up all around them. Men lead even if they don't have official positions and they need women to help them in these roles. I trust that this podcast will encourage you to encourage them.

Once again, I had a delightful conversation with another granddaughter - Agnes! We talked about so many things – her favorite Bible stories, hobbies, run club, swimming and of course, the most important being a great love we share – cats!
Enjoy!

It is a highlight of my week to record podcasts with my grandgirls. This week you get to hear from our 11-year-old granddaughter, Dorothy. Having these conversations with my children's children remind me of Psalm 78:5b-6 "That they should teach them to their children, That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, That they may arise and tell them to their children ..." How encouraging it is for me to chat with her and I trust you are encouraged as well.

This week I caught up with our 13-year-old granddaughter, Ruth. She shares how she came to know the Lord, when the gospel clicked for her, how she prays Scripture, what she loves about weightlifting with her dad, how she helps younger children, qualities she admires in her sisters, and her favorite things to do when she has free time. What a delightful conversation!

This week on the podcast, I am joined by our oldest granddaughter, Lois! We talk about what it means to be duty-driven as a high school sophomore, how to push through hard things, and how to make decisions about extracurricular activities. Lois shares how she came to know the Lord and the influence people have had on her as she grows in her faith. Lois also talks about what life has been like for her and her sisters as she has transitioned from being educated at home to a Christian school. I love having these conversations with my grand girls – and I trust that you are encouraged by this heart-to-heart chat with Lois!

This week on the podcast, you will hear from my granddaughter, Grace. I asked her what her walk with God is like as a 13-year-old seventh grader. I asked how her relationship with God impacts her life as a daughter, a sibling, a cousin… We talked about how she studies the Bible and how she would encourage someone her age to stay strong in the Lord. It is always my prayer that this podcast encourages you

In this week's podcast, I had the opportunity to talk with two of my granddaughters, AudreyKate and Evangeline, as they have made the journey from school at home to school away from home. They started at Academy31 this past fall in Raleigh, North Carolina and I had the best time in interviewing them.
I spoke with them in June as they were anticipating the change - you can listen to that episode here:

God wants to bless us but sometimes we don't see or experience those blessings in our lives. Why is that? I trust this week's podcast will encourage you not to miss God's richest blessings.
