Ray Bentley

The very word Christian speaks of being a replication of the Lord. It means being little Christ. We're to show the world what Jesus looks like. We're to let Him fill us with His spirit. We're to put on the mind of Christ and let his thoughts and values replace our own remark.

Mark 8:22-30

There are some who don't walk as closely with the Lord as they know they should, but there are others that are on fire. They pray, they study, they fellowship, they evangelize. But sometimes they feel a little superior. They can become judgmental. Today, Pastor Ray helps us recognize that danger as we look at the Pharisees.

Mark 8:11-21

It's impossible to be both judgmental and loving towards someone at the same time. And the Lord never said they shall know you are Christians, by your judgment, was. So how do we avoid the trap of living as judgmental Pharisees?

Mark 8:11-21

Among the miracles of Jesus. Some are obvious, some not as much. It's easy to recognize that the blind see the deaf here and the lame walk. But the healing he offers on the inside of us sometimes is only obvious to us.

Mark 7:31

Seeing Jesus of Nazareth begin, his miraculous earthly ministry must have been overwhelming to those who knew him. Now, that carpenter on the next block, Joseph and Mary's son, he's healing people, raising them from the dead, turning water into wine.

What's that about? Today, Pastor Ray helps us see what they saw.

Mark 7:31

o much of life is relative to you and me. $100 is a lot of money. But to a billionaire, his net worth may be changing by thousands of dollars every minute, given the fluctuating stock market. Well, today we learn about one woman who recognized a little from someone who has a lot is still of considerable value. Mark 7:24-25

We all fall into two categories those who are facing significant challenges and those who will be. And the Lord promises that He'll walk with us through the fire today, Pastor Ray points out an encounter Jesus had with someone who needed his help with a crisis.

Mark Chapter 7:24-25

What on earth are you doing, for heaven's sake? It's a question we should probably all ask ourselves each day, but it's easy to get swallowed up in the daily urgency that surround us and forget why we're here. Today, Pastor Ray continues our studies and Mark with a reminder that we're here to be representatives of Christ.

Mark Chapter 7

Pastor Ray Bentley recounts the history of the Jewish people and how hearts were led astray. God wanted a people who were humble, who loved God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. But here's where they were wrong. They had been filled with pride. And then the pride led to prejudice against Gentile people and the nations of the world and the Gentiles felt estranged from God. Mark Chapter 7

It might be easy to think that Jesus walked on water in the midst of a storm because he could. But we'll see today that Jesus wasn't the only one who walked on water that day. We'll see how the Lord will enable us to do miraculous things for His kingdom if we keep our eyes on him.
