Ray Bentley

From the parable of the Loaves and Fish, Pastor Ray Bentley points out God can use the little we may think we have to offer. So what little bit you have that you are saying is worthless, it's insignificant. It doesn't meet the need. God doesn't care about that. That's worldly thinking. But now kingdom thinking, you take what little you have and you give it to Jesus. Ask Jesus to blessed its blessing.

Mark 6:14

John the Baptist was a man of strong conviction, not given to compromise. And he's a pivotal part of the New Testament. But his role seems limited. Today, Pastor Ray points out God can do tremendous things with people who are simply available.

The Lord's disciples were to model Christ in several different ways. We're told to put on the mind of Christ. We do so fill ourselves with His thoughts that they become our own. And we're also to then be a representative of Christ to the world that desperately needs him.

Mark 6:1-12

Pastor Ray Bentley highlights a tough assignment for believers.

Our greatest challenge to share our faith and our love for the Lord will always be in our own home. The toughest place to live, the life that is pleasing to God and share boldly our faith. It's much easier to go preach to the, you know, unknown masses than it is to a handful of people who have known you your whole life.

Pastor Ray Bentley points out how one woman explained that belief in Christ changed her life.

Gospel of Mark chapter five beginning in verse 21

How much faith does it take to believe Jesus is God's son? The Bible says even demons believe that. How much faith does it take to believe God's son can do a miracle? It may take all the faith we have to believe Jesus will do a miracle in our lives. And that's what Pastor Ray talks about today.

Mark 5

Sometimes we forget what the gospel can offer someone. We shy away from sharing our faith because we think the message might not be welcome, but we have the cure for a terminal illness, the sickness of sin. And this isn't, as they say, fast. Temporary relief. It's a cure that lasts forever. Mark 5

We've all heard the verse. Greater is he that is in you then he that is in the world. The first he in the sentence is Jesus. The second He is our spiritual adversary. Well, today, Pastor Ray brings us to a moment when both sides essentially have an encounter. A demon possessed man meets Jesus and is never the same again.

Mark 5

Pastor Ray Bentley points out, believers can have a settled reassurance in the fact that our savior has us in his hands. Mark 4

Pastor Ray Bentley says a certain parable reveals where salvation comes from. Jesus gave this little parable about the growth of the seed, and he said, Once this seed has been planted, the farmer goes out and sows liberally, and then he sleeps at night. He goes out and he tends his responsibilities during the day. But he is not personally the one who makes the seed grow.
