    :30 - Ray starts Friday’s show talking about all things revolving around weddings, including the proposal, the ceremony, and the reception. My, how things have changed over the years. Tony brings up the point of how weddings are much different with Millennials, in that the ceremonies and receptions aren’t always at churches and party centers, respectively.
    10:54 - Our morning show golf pro Dan Dauk joined the show to go over what the heck happened last weekend with the United States in the Ryder Cup. They also talked about the Tiger Woods-Phil Mickelson televised matchup happening around Thanksgiving.
    16:42- Each Friday morning, we play a game with the panel called the Final Exam. If you can’t play along live, play along on the podcast! Just don’t skip ahead and cheat!
    23:53 - And to wrap up the week, our movie guy Scott Wynn dropped in. Big releases this weekend are A Star is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, and the new villainous film Venom.

    :30 - If there’s an open storefront in a shopping plaza, it’ll probably be a Halloween store come October. Ray kicks off the show talking about Halloween costumes and what the panel’s favorites were over the years. Tony brings up the point about how Halloween has become the New Year’s for Millennials as far as parties go.
    11:11 - Yesterday, Ray chatted with Tony Gotto, head coach of the Barberton Magics about their matchup versus Ellet. The Orangemen head coach Chuck Shuman gave his thoughts on Friday’s big game.
    15:19 - Each Wednesday, Dr. Joe Congeni from Akron Children’s Hospital stops by to discuss sports medicine. A hot topic these days has been concussions in football, but what about soccer? How about the other sports?
    26:39 - The Western Reserve Playhouse continues to thrive, and for the next few weekends, Little Women will be on stage. Dawn Yamokoski and her crew were in studio to give us a taste of the production.

    It should be an interesting season for the Cleveland Cavaliers for a variety of reasons. John Michael, the voice of the Cavs, stopped by and discussed a few of those reasons.
    In a sports-heavy show today, Brian Dulik from the Medina Gazette joined the show to preview the Indians in the ALDS, the Cavs season ahead, and the Browns a quarter of the way through the season.

    :26 - A proposed ordinance in Akron City Council looks to crack down on barking dogs. Residents whose dogs won’t stop barking can receive a $100 and possible jail time. Some agree with this measure, and others, including Tara Samples who joined Ray, disagree.
    7:36 - The council member who proposed the ordinance, Russ Neal, also came on with Ray.
    16:52 - Tony Gotto is the head coach of the Barberton Magics, and he joined Ray to talk about his team. The Magics are 6-0 and they take on an improving 5-1 Ellet team this weekend.
    21:02 - The MLB playoffs are all set, and the Cleveland Indians are set to take on the Houston Astros in the ALDS. Bob DiBiasio, VP for the Tribe, talked to Ray about how the Indians will fare against the defending world champs, as well as Bobby D meeting Wayne Newton out in Las Vegas.
    31:55 - A quarter of the NFL season is in the books, and the Cleveland Browns have a record of 1-2-1 through four games. Fred Greetham from the Orange & Brown Report discussed the season so far, including the play of rookie starting quarterback Baker Mayfield.

    :28 - Cavs guard JR Smith debuted a new tattoo on his right calf. Problem is, the ink is of a sponsor, and because it is against NBA guidelines, JR will be fined any time it is not concealed during a game. Ray thinks it’s nit-picky, while Jeanne agrees with the league.
    7:46 - Each Monday, our veterinarian, Dr. Gary Riggs, comes in studio to answer questions on your pets. Today’s discussion revolved around Parvo and rabies vaccines for dogs, especially in puppies. Dr. Riggs has offices in Norton and Barberton.
    18:50 - October begins Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Alex Vukoder from the American Cancer Society stopped by to talk about awareness and further prevention, as well as Tony being a part of the Real Men Wear Pink campaign.
    25:50 - Our business of the week, Beach Boyz Entertainment in Cuyahoga Falls.
    35:26 - Brian Polen, race director from the Akron Marathon, called in to recap the weekend’s events.

    0:29 - Dr. Cliff Deveny is the interim president of Summa Health Systems, and he joined the show to talk about new business partners, which includes two new campuses. Summa is the largest employer in Akron.
    6:31 - The Ryder Cup is underway across the pond in Paris. Dan Dauk, our morning show golf pro, broke down the United States’ chances (even if tee times are at the crack of dawn in America).
    11:19 - Columbus Day is no more, at least in Akron and choice other communities. October 1st will be the inaugural North American First People’s Day, and Sam Chestnut, Matt Russ, and Burt Medicine Bull from the Lippman School joined the show to discuss the activities surrounding it.
    18:53 - We’re some weeks away from Veterans Day, but it’s never too soon to talk about the mental and physical health of our veterans. Dr. Keita Franklin specializes in suicide prevention for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and she joined Ray to talk about what the VA is doing to help.
