She is a Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) graduate and has gone from Division 1 athlete, to athletic trainer (AT), to personal trainer, to doctor. Louissaint’s path to medical school was shaped by several key choices that she made both during and after college. She attended Florida International University in Miami on an athletic scholarship, where she developed an interest in athletic training.In this video, Dr. Louissaint shares her journey with me, and it is a journey that is sure to leave you feeling inspired and empowered.Dr. Louissaint's story is one of resilience, determination, and hard work. Live from Colorado, I speak to International Sports Agent, Brittany Gilman. Brittany Gilman has over 15 years of experience in the professional sports world and over 22 years of personal athletic experience. Born and raised in Colorado, her life has been dedicated to athletics. In addition to being a competitive soccer player, gymnast, water-skier, track athlete, horse trainer and competitive rider, she also competed in the Junior Olympics for skiing at age 11. Ms. Gilman began snowboarding at age 12. She was on the Professional Halfpipe circuit for five years while attending the University of Colorado and majoring in Kinesiology. She was also a member of the University of Colorado Varsity Snowboard team for 4.5 years, the US Junior Olympic Snowboard Team, as well as received endorsements from multiple snowboard/ski companies.Gilman moved to L.A. in the spring of 2005 in order to accept a job opportunity at USC as a Graduate Assistant Football Strength Coach, training USC’s football and swim teams. During this time, she was also considered for a USC track scholarship for post-grad, however was unable to accept as she was out of eligibility.In addition to working with USC, she also worked at Velocity Sports Performance where she assisted in the NFL Combine Preparation training of numerous athletes. After a year and a half in L.A., she moved to Auburn Alabama where she worked as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach training the Women’s Tennis Team, Men and Women’s Track/Cross-Country, Men and Women’s Diving, as well as several professional athletes.In one year, Gilman completed her Masters of Education in Human Health and Performance with a concentration in Biomechanics. She then returned to Los Angeles in 2007. BG Sports was established in the spring of 2008. At this time, she was also working as Director of Sports Marketing for the worldwide company Swiss Massaius LLC.In addition to running BG Sports Enterprises and BG Bodies, she is herself a sports and fitness model, appearing in numerous television programs, print media, and shows. Live from Ottawa, I have a conversation with Ottawa Senators Host DJ, DJ Prosper.Patrick “Prosper” Laguerre, was born on September 19th, 1979 in Montréal, Canada. Born into a Haitian household, Prosper was full of energy and charisma from a young age. His love for music started through his early admiration of the late greats, Michael Jackson & Elvis Presley. Channeling their captivating presence and ability to lead thousands through a performance would be the bridge to Prosper and his very early success. Through high school into adulthood, Prosper became the voice of the people, rocking crowds at various school talent shows and concerts, to eventually the birth of his first musical venture Technical Sense.The rap group, formed by a group of high school friends would be the start if Proper’s musical journey. The rap group would emerge as prominent figures in the Québec music scene as well as garnishing some nationwide attention. Platforms such as MTV & Much Music, took notice to the emerging rap group but it was the undeniable connection that Prosper had with the audiences that would watch him, that took him to the next steps of his life. It was 2001 when Prosper got the opportunity to open for R&B legend Ashanti on a Ruff Ryders tour that featured him as a crowd motivator. City to city Prosper would set the temperature, bringing the energy to packed out venues all over the country night after night. This passion was eventually cultivated through the love of his life and now wife Melissa Laguerre. Through a series of life changing events, Prosper found a new sense of peace with his decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ. These decisions ultimately led him to cross paths with the love of his life, and now wife Melissa Laguerre. Together they formed a new group with a different focus by the name of GPM.GPM, which stands for Gifted Powerful Movement was a group started by the young couple in hopes of reaching many with a message of hope & inspiration. Through 5 studio albums & many trips across the nation, Prosper & GPM spread their message and touched the lives of many.Now a decade later, Prosper has taken his talents and message to a different platform with the NHL & the Ottawa Senators. Live from Ottawa, I have a conversation with Canadian basketball legend Osvaldo Jeanty. Osvaldo Jeanty is a former Canadian basketball coach and professional basketball player.He is one of the all-time greats of the Carleton University Ravens men's basketball team and a member of the Ravens' Hall of Fame. Jeanty was named Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS - Now called U Sports) male athlete of the year in 2006, and CIS basketball player of the year in 2006 and 2007. He won Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) titles every year while at Carleton, and was the MVP in four of those five championship games. He played for Canada's men's national basketball team on a European tour in the summer of 2006 and finished in seventh place with Team Canada at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.He spent six years playing professionally in Germany, Morocco, Romania and in the NBL Canada. He retired from professional basketball in 2013.Jeanty has a Bachelor of Commerce, Double concentration in Finance and Accounting. Jeanty was born in Belle-Rivière, Haiti.

I had the privilege to talk to Simon Xavier aka Klassic, live from Ottawa. Simon Xavier is an Ottawa based dancer who started dancing at the age of 4. He has a strong appreciation for all genres of music, specifically funk. He was inspired by Michael Jackson, and fell in love with Popping at the age of 14. Klassic gave a strong first impression in the dance scene in 2008 when he entered Canada’s biggest street dance event called Bust-a-Move, and become a finalist along with partner Miles Boog (From So You Think You Can Dance Canada) against top international dancers Greenteck (CAD) and Salah (FR).Klassic has appeared in “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”, (Season 3) he has also performed in the 2011 NHL All-Star weekend held in Ottawa, and “Canada’s Got Talent”, just to name a few! His accomplishments are endless including, competing in battles all over Canada and having won Montreal’s Urban Art and Dance Festival, Under Pressure Popping battle 3 consecutive years.Actively involved in his community and giving back to the youth, Klassic has been teaching at The Flava Factory since 2011. He’s also the Assistant Dance Coordinator for Canada’s biggest Urban Arts and Hip Hop Festival, House of PainT.Klassic’s career has brought him into the international scene sharing his knowledge and teaching students from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. Klassic has taken part in performances, been invited as a battle guest, judged and participated in battles throughout China such as; Crazy Dancing, Funk in Shanghai, and Dancing with Us, to name a few. He continues to pursue his passion nationally and internationally, with his career taking him to new heights.
