Once upon a time, there was a girl who grew up in the Mormon church, moved to Los Angeles to become an actor and ended up working in the sex industry.
Amy Bond, author, proud owner of San Francisco and Oakland Pole Dance studios and pro-bono family and immigration attorney, found herself working in porn after moving to Los Angeles at age 19. But after being “saved” from a severe downward spiral, Amy found herself enrolling in law school and then making a name for herself in Silicon Valley as an attorney.
What would you do if you found yourself working alongside tech giants, allotting yourself a new found identity, one that allowed you to bury your sex-working past. Would you continue to lean into the Silicon Valley lifestyle and enjoy your newfound reputation as a baller? Or would you abandon your lucrative legal specialty repping start-ups and choose instead to rep actual human beings, ones who are unable to represent themselves?
