The Cleveland State Vikings knocked off the Green Bay Phoenix this past Tuesday at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum to clinch their first Horizon League title since 2010. Justin Kinner caught up with Vikings head coach Chris Kielsmeier to reflect on their title win on Tuesday plus coach weighs in on what his message was for his players and staff heading into Selection Sunday.

The Northern Kentucky Norse knocked off Cleveland State in Tuesday night's Horizon League Championship game 63-61. It was the fourth conference title in the last seven years and the second title under the reign of head coach Darrin Horn. Coach Horn joined us on this week podcast to reflect on the huge Championship win and weighed in on what made this season and this roster so special.

The regular season is wrapping up this weekend and the regular season title is still unclaimed. Youngstown State is sitting at the top with the Cleveland State Vikings right behind them. Cleveland State is coming off of a huge weekend taking care of business vs Wright State and Northern Kentucky. The Vikings are easily the hottest team heading into the Tournament and that is why we had to get the voice of the CSU men's program Al Pawlowski on the pod this week.

The Horizon League is as deep and competitive as it has been in a long time and that is what makes each weeks quantity of games all quality match-ups. The Wright State Raiders are coming off of an impressive 2-0 road sweep over Green Bay & Milwaukee to even their conference record to 4-4. It has been an up and down season for Wright State who continues to fight to find their way in a very deep Horizon League. The Raiders have their hands full this weekend as they have Purdue Fort Wayne coming to the Nutter Center tonight and then they we'll welcome the Cleveland State Vikings on Sunday.
