A time slip/ Groundhog Day style thriller set in Sydney? Even if I wasn't a Petronella McGovern fan I would have read this novel! SO glad I did! In addition to it being a twisty turny psychological thriller it also let me think about destiny and time and the brain...talk about the whole package!

I adore Sophie Green novels, I'm sure you are too; all the Australian places, the connection and the friendship..The Frock Shop is absolutely my new favourite, the first one (I think) set in Mosman! In a shop, which I absolutely appreciated as a former shopowner myself...the frock shop was once a fancy high end shop and is now a charity one, Daphne has been there through lots of the changes and I just love that for the shop.

Anyway I'll let you jump in to this chat, regardless of whether you have finished the novel yet or not, its spoiler free :)

My palms are actually sweaty, I can't believe I actually get to publish this chat, it's a beauty and I always really thought too good to be true to get to speak with Hannah Richell. I am such a fan of hers. I got to speak with her a little while ago now (what an opportunity) we do talk about her memoir and I guess from that point there are spoilers, but I do not think they will detract from your reading experience, but goodness if you haven't yet rad An Ocean and a Day, what are you waiting for?

This is my type of thriller; character led super twisty crime to be solved, with multiple trips to the cafe and lots of tea and scenery! Have you read The Secrets of Strangers yet? This will be a great ep to listen to regardless because we were super careful not to spoil it, so even if it's just on your radar jump right in, I could listen to Jess talk books all day long!

This is another slow to come to you chat (I'm nearly caught up at least now) that I got to have with the brilliant Francesca De Tores about her incredible reimagining of the life story of Alexander Selkirk; the real life inspiration for Robinson Crusoe..we really tried to keep it spoiler free, but gosh this would make an excellent book club discussion! So much to think about!!

Glamour, love, secrets and lies..what a novel this one is! I loved being able to chat with Belinda Alexandra about The Italian Correspondent, although I couldn't get to editing it as quickly as I would have liked..

But it was so fun listening to the chat, and I think you will love the novel too! I made sure no pesky spoilers snuck though so you don't have to have finished the novel before listening (although, gosh go go go)

The Italian Correspondent is our Wondering Women June Read, and I can't wait to chat all about this twisty plotty novel, loved it!

I adored this chat I got to have with Anna Johnston, I loved When Lemons Give You Life, so much zest for life! We tried so hard to keep it spoiler free, it is so much nicer just going into the book and discovering it all for yourself isn't is!

Hope you get to listen to this one while cooking something delicious!
