The Ready for the Draft podcast is back after a hiatus following the passing of Gregg's mom Nancy.  Gregg dedicates his podcast series going forward to his mother.  Then Gregg reveals his first mock 1st Round of the 2022 draft.  Do the Jags go after a pass rusher like Aidan Hutchinson or Kayvon Thibodeaux or an OT like Evan Neal?  Is Kyle Hamilton a top-five pick?  How many QB's come off the board in Round 1?  Gregg breaks down his thoughts on the 1st Round.

The college football regular season is over, which can mean only one thing - It's Bowl Season!!!  Episode 13 is the first of two podcasts dedicated to the Bowl games.  There are 44 bowl games in all and there's at least one draft-eligible prospect in each game.  Over the next two podcasts, Gregg takes a look at every Bowl game, reviews the matchup and calls out the propsects to watch for.  In this epside, Gregg breaks down the first 17 bowl games, from Toledo vs. Middle Tennessee in the Bahamas Bowl on December 17th to the Military Bowl featuring Houston and East Carolina on December 27th.

After a brief hiatus, Gregg is back to bring his NFL Draft content.  As the month of November comes to a close, there is plenty to talk about, from Michigan finally taking down their rival Ohio State at The Big House to Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly moving on.  And then of course there's the draft.  Gregg walks through each position and talks about who to expect to be the top prospects at each position and where to expect them to come off the board. From Kayvon Thibodeaux and Aidan Hutchinson to Matt Corral, Garrett Wilson, Evan Neal and Ikem Ekwonu, there's no shortage of players to be considered for the top two rounds of the draft.

We've seen some breakout performers in 2022 and Episode 11 is dedicated to talking about just a few who have emerged in 2022.  Any conversation about players with soaring draft stock has to begin with Kenneth Walker III, who may now be the Heisman frontrunner after his 5 TD performance in a 37-33 win over Michigan.  Kenny Pickett has proved his decision to return to Pittsburgh was a smart one, elevating his play to a level that brings him into consideration among the top QB's in this year's draft class.  At WR, Drake London was always seen as a top-10 wideout, but what he has done in 2021, even after the devastating ankle fracture this past weekend that ended his season, has him knocking on the door as a top WR target.  At OT, Bernhard Raimann may have been a foreign exchange student from Austria in high school, but his athleticism coupled with his technique have him squarely in the conversation as a top OT prospect.  Defensively, everyone knew Jordan Davis was special at NT, but the burst, lateral quickness and motor have him knocking on the door of the top 10.  Nakobe Dean has emerged as the draft's top inside backer, while Jaquan Brisker is the top safety not named Kyle Hamilton.  And while there's a lot of talk around Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner at Cincinnati, don't sleep on Coby Bryant at corner.

The weekend of October 9th will go down as maybe the most exciting weekend of College Football in 2021.  Mississippi fends off Arkansas when the Hogs fail to execute a two-point conversion with no time remaining.  Iowa fights back to beat Penn State riding high with an opportunistic defense.  DOWN GOES BAMA!  Texas A&M was able to match the Crimson Tide's physicality and Jimbo Fisher became the first former Nick Saban assistant to win against their forner boss.  And how about the wild Red River Shootout, where Texas goes up 28-7 in the 1st quarter before freshman Caleb Williams is inserted into the mix, igniting life into the Sooner offense.  Gregg takes a look at all the draft prospects in these matchups.  The biggest question is what's up with Spencer Rattler?  Gregg explores what this game means for Rattler's future.

Episode 9 is the last installment of Gregg's early season look at his top 10 lists by position as he reviews the secondary.  Derek Stingley is at the top of the CB list, but who will b the next corner off the board?  Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner?  Kaiir Elam?  Andrew Booth, Jr.?  And at Safety, Kyle Hamilton looks to be a lock in the top 10, but the position is deep at the top with Jaquan Brisker, Verone McKinley III, Daxton Hill and Brandon Joseph likely to hear their names called early in the 2022 Draft.

Gregg also talks about what the top five picks might look like.  Evan Neal and Kayvon Thibodeaux feel like locks, while Derek Stingley coiuld be the first CB since Jeffrey Okudah to come off the board in the top 5 and Kyle Hamilton could be the top Safety to come off the board since Jamal Adams went No. 6 in 2017.  However, we all know the QB position will likely dominate the talks at the top of the draft, yet with this underwhelming draft class, will we even see a QB come off the board in the top 10?  Spencer Rattler and Sam Howell are having their struggles this year, so Malik Willis, Matt Corral and Desmond Ridder are moving up draft boards.

Gregg kicks off Episode 8 by using the first 20 minutes to recap the first three weeks of the college football season.  He then dives into his top 10 for both outside and inside linebackers.  Starting outside, who will emerge in the group that includes Drake Jackson, Adam Anderson, Amare Barno and Kingsley Enagbare. And on the inside, can the likes of Nakobe Dean, Mke Rose, Devin Lloyd or Owen Pappoe close the gap on Christian Harris?

Episode 7 dives into the trenches on the defensive side of the ball and takes a look at Gregg's top ten along the DL.  At DE, Kayvon Thibodeaux is far and away the top prospect as an edge rusher.  The question that still needs to be answered is who's at No. 2 between George Karlaftis and Aidan Hutchinson.  And at DT, a pair from the SEC in DeMarvin Leal and Jordan Davis stand out in a group that looks to be deeper than 2021.
