This week we sit down for a highly entertaining interview with Jeff and Todd Bishop, co-founders of Halifax’s own Dormie Workshop. Dormie designs and builds premium leather headcovers along with many other golf and travel products that have gained a ton of attention in the golf world. This spring, they were recognized as Golf Digest’s Editor’s Choice for best leather headcover. Jeff and Todd share their story of how they got started, their background and take us through some exciting announcements for their future.

After only five short months it is once again Masters week! We are thrilled to welcome back to the show Brigitte Thibault, who will be returning to Augusta, Georgia this week to compete at the Augusta National Women’s Amatuer. Brigitte is now a senior at Fresno State where she competes for the Bulldogs Women’s Golf team. Brigitte has seen great success competing in California, where she currently holds the title as Mountain West Conference individual champion and is also a member of Team Canada’s National Amateur squad. In her interview Brigitte discusses what it’s like competing at a high level, how she prepares not only on the course, but on the mental side, and what she’s expecting heading back to Augusta.

Lots to get to this week as Brent and John take the reins and recap another exciting week of golf at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. After getting a bit distracted last week by Patrick Reed’s most recent cheating incident, we are back once again to give our rundown of new product launches and gear announcements for 2021. Though this is very top-line, we cover some of the major releases from the big club manufacturers, including TaylorMade, Titleist, Callaway and Cobra Golf. With further proof that the universe doesn’t care about karma, Patrick Reed has taken home his 9th PGA Tour victory this week at the Farmers Insurance Open. However, the win doesn’t come without controversy. Reed benefitted from a highly-scrutinized move during his 3rd round in which he took relief from an “embedded” lie. This week, the guys break down the incident itself and discuss its implications for the tour and how incidents like this can be avoided in the future.

After a lengthy conversation, we talk about the upcoming Waste Management Phoenix Open and make our picks for the week. With only 5,000 spectators allowed on the grounds each day, the event will look significantly different than it has in the past; most notably on its famed Hole #16 that typically sees a raucous crowd of 20,000 on that hole alone.

If you need to brush off all of the Patrick Reed-induced negativity, check out this video featuring Gary Woodland and Amy Bockerstette from the 2019 WM Open. Yes, it’s unadulterated PGA Tour propaganda and yes, you will probably see it multiple times over the next few days (especially if Gary is in contention). But good luck not smiling anyway.
