From christian experience we have heard that we are not to seek Vengeance because vengeance belongs to the LORD.

Romans 12:19 - Dearly  beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for  it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

But can we say that vengeance is our, and there is something that we can avenge for? 

2 Corinthians 7:11 - For  behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what  carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea,  what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what  zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be  clear in this matter.

We are not to seek vengeance when it comes to other people around us,  it is up to God to seek Vengeance against other humans, however there is one thing where we can seek vengeance, and that is against our flesh and our sins. Our greatest enemy than any other humans is our flesh.

Sometimes preaching the word of the God, is not pretty, doesn't make us feel good, it makes us uncomfortable or it can make us offended or even worse, it can make us upset and hurt, and that's what usually the word of God is, why?

Hebrew 4:12 

12 For  the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged  sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of  the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of  the heart.

In that passage the word of God it Convicts and cuts the body, so that is why you feel like youa are torn to shred in the preaching of the Word of God.

Jesus shed every last drop of his blood to save us from God's wrath. The reason why we should be grateful for everything in our lives is that our Savior paid a heavy cost for our lives to be saved. We need to also remember the martyrs, who sacrificed themselves for Christ's sake so that the gospel could be preserved for us.

Churches nowadays have become so carnal, that the people cannot even handle meat anymore, and instead need to be constantly fed with milk. 

Nonetheless, it is important for Christians to seek continuous spiritual growth, then they get to enjoy that 'prime steak' offered at church.

At times we may focus too much on our own thoughts and afflictions. Hence, we inflict a lot of pain in ourselves and tend to victimize ourselves for our insecurities. Nonetheless, if we were to look at the bigger picture, Lord Jesus Christ and a lot of the Bible Believing religious leaders have sacrificed so much more, and gritted their teeth even during the hardest of times, so that their knowledge of the truth can be passed down to us to allow us to be saved by the Grace of God.

Jesus is our joy in the midst of sorrow, no one can steal him, and his joy in us.  

 'Jesus is truly all the answer we need in our lives'.   

It is easy for us to say or make such a proclamation, but some of us may not necessarily apply or live that statement.  

It is normal in life to suffer from pain, grief, sorrow, and negativity, because of our fleshy nature, but do not allow our flesh to overrule us.

As much as the persecution we Christians are getting nowadays from the authority and government can be daunting and painful, this sermon reminds us how exciting it will be when we are finally in heaven. We will be tossing our crown at the feet of Jesus, we will be shouting hallelujah, praising the Lord with joy and massive delight that words cannot even explain. Similar to the kind of excitement we witness from a football match, that will be multiplied countless times when we finally meet Jesus and inherit the Kingdom of God as promised by our Heavenly Father.  

How do we respond according to Matthew 10 when people would not listen to the word of truth: You shake off the dust of your feet. You have done what you can according to what God commands you to do, and you move on.
