If you reject the light, you will keep being in sin. Your blindness, pain, depression and discouragement are not because God is punishing you, but it is because you are rejecting the light, the medication to your sin.

We walk by faith not by sight, by faith we see the spiritual truth of this world, while by sight we see the fleshy world. Blind the lies, and see through faith.

Jesus is the Light, the things of this world made us blind but now we see.

February 02, 2020 How Does Gene Kim Pastor His Church?
The first ingredient in JOY is Jesus first. Preach the word means that we go by the bible route and that's why the world hates us. Why aren't we like all the other people/churches? Everything that we do and practice is by the word of God. Satan has infiltrated the higher education with modernism so that it casts doubt on God through evolution, mythology, the resurrection of the dead etc. There is such a great attack on the word of God even from Genesis 1.

The second ingredient of Joy is Others. The closest thing we can see to Jesus is the body of Christ is the believers and church. We are representatives of Jesus, so dress and behave well. Jesus can put up with us and live in us every day: "I know everything that is wrong about you but I still want to love you." So why can't you love the brothers and sisters? Different ages, genders, classes, nationalities are present in the church but we look at the body of Jesus Christ and we love everyone in the Lord. Encourage the brothers and sisters who are volunteering and serving through serving them, praying for them and encouraging them.

The third ingredient of Joy is Yourself. When we take care (spend time) of ourselves, we will be able to love Jesus and others more. God gave you everything on earth to enjoy - you are meant to also enjoy and spend time for yourself - physical and mental health.

January 19, 2020 Fall on Your Knees
Paul knelt down and left again to the ship. In the midst of the hustle and business, he took the time to fall on his knees. Satan's tactic in the Laodicean machine is to keep you moving, instead of stopping and falling on your knees. There are several points on why you should fall on your knees in the bible:

1) Kneel in private- It doesn't matter how much effort you put on your part, if God is not in the middle of all the tasks that you are trying to achieve. You need to stop and fall on your knees and take some time with God.
2) Kneel to provide service - You need to provide service for others, it's not about you but is about others, be humble. We are used to go to church and get fed by the pastor, but we need to fall on our knees to serve others too.

Psalms 139 showed how close a relationship David had with God.

David is well known to remain God’s man even though Saul was chasing him. And despite committing awful sin, he wept in repentance and he had a strong relationship with God.

God didn’t see David as the one who killed the giant, or as the king, or as the one that committed adultery, God was looking at a person that keeps a relationship with Him.

God looked at the heart of David the one that says in the midst of everything keep a close relationship with God.

September 29, 2019 Fate is Under My Command
A lot of people could have improved their spiritual life should they choose to. You lost to suffering, temptation, trial because you did not make use of your power of choice. Remember you chose them.

Don’t let your flesh make the choices for you. You have the power of choice and willpower in you, but if you don’t, temptations will conquer you, suffering will overcome you, you will miss out on blessings.

God is not a Calvinist – “Oh God, I cannot overcome this temptation. It’s because you didn’t help me.” Don’t sit and wait for God to do something. That’s a wrong mindset. We are not robots and God does not force us. God does not like a forced offering but our cheerful giving.
