We need to learn to be disciplined enough to walk in Christ, even in the midst of suffering, we should not be conformed to the world, such as looking for alternatives with short term pleasure. The process may not be easy, but it is so crucial to go through that for the renewing of our mind. Always reply with prayers, as a foundation to help us achieve that goal. Prayers are also how we increase our faith and reliance on God, and if we are able to do that, it takes a lot of load and burden from ourselves.

The conclusion is that instead of relying on vaccines and solutions from the earth that may appear to be temporal, we need to rely on God to help build or strengthen our immune system from within, to have a sound mind to be able to handle all kinds of afflictions. Besides, make it a commitment to always pray to God, be it small or big matters, before the matters turn into afflictions or before it's too late.

Where our vision is set, our hearts shall follow. We should be aiming for treasures in heaven, not on earth. However that being said, we also realize that we are surrounded by worldly temptations and trials, that often may divert our attention away from what truly matters. Besides that, the tendency for us to compare with others, even among Bible Believers may unintentionally grow our covetousness and bitterness.

We can hardly rely on our own fleshy mind to distance ourselves from monetary or earthly possessions. Therefore, rely on God's right hand and through Christ Jesus, to help us grow spiritually day by day, through reading his words of truth, to increase our knowledge about the scripture. Consistently doing these things may continue to fill us up with Holy Spirit.

April 26, 2020 My God is Instant Through Social Distancing
We need to constantly remind ourselves to refresh the experience that we had in solitude with the Lord during coronavirus. Praying is a good way for us to practice that, to remind us that the changes we made during our solitude time can finally be enacted. We need to pray like Jesus did:

"morning" - The first thing we do every day should be praying.
"a great while before day" - Give yourself enough time in case of spiritual warfare.
"he went out" - There are too many distractions in your room, so get away from them and get alone with God!

On the other hand, as Christians we need to keep in mind that as much as some of us may want to continue to enjoy this solitude time with God to the fullest, we cannot completely remove ourselves from this sinful wicked world. We need to urge ourselves that there are still a lot of unsaved souls that need to hear the gospel from us, and for us to minister to them.

April 19, 2020 The Almighty Cure For a Mighty Pandemic
The sermon outlines the cure for covid-19.

1. We need to recognize that we have sinned against God, and do not deflect the blame on any nation, but take responsibility for ourselves. Repent and spend more time worshiping God.

2. The Lord gave different commands to different people according to dispensationalism. Noah was commanded to build an ark to prove his faith and perfected by his work. For us, we are commanded to have faith in Christ and repent on our sins. We need to just follow his instructions and his words. However, people just have the tendency to despise God's words and turn our ears away from his instructions. God will not give us a burden more than what we can bear.

3. We need to understand that fulfilling God's words or command requires us to go against our flesh. Hebrews 12 states that God wants to chasten and purify us because we are the child of God. Satan will try to provide us with fleshy or easier alternatives, but we need to constantly deliver ourselves from the easy but wrong ways! Servicing God requires sacrifice and costs, not convenience.

4. Always be ready to sacrifice for God. We need to serve the Lord sacrificially.

In this time, we as bible believing Christians should also defend ourselves through this crisis plotted by Satan with the right mechanism and methods.
Do not use the wrong way, such as violence and impulsivity, or do things that will endanger our family and health, to go against the will of God to defeat the enemy. Instead, choose to seek wisdom from God, to minister the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to win souls.
We need to believe that by the grace of God and the power of his protection, we can overcome the trials we are currently facing.

In times of pandemic like this, our greatest enemy is not the virus itself, but its 'Me, Myself and I' . It is ourselves, and if we do not realize how wicked our flesh can be, then we are on dangerous ground.

Proverbs 18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

Proverbs is written by Solomon, one of the wisest men on Earth, explaining that a man through desires intermeddles with wisdom (and that's not a good word). When we are in isolation, our desire becomes more exposed, and we intermeddle, and dabble in things we should not be bothered doing. For example, dabbling with the internet, which has the capability for the flesh to be more in control.
